Top tips to invite abundance to your life with gratitude
Gratitude is a powerful force that can transform our lives in profound ways.
When we cultivate gratitude, we shift our focus away from what's lacking. This helps us attract more abundance into our lives. Since introducing these ideas below into my own life, i've felt better both emotionally and physically, improved relationships that are important to me and even got myself a new job. So I sincerely hope these tips can help you in just as many wonderful ways.
Abundance is also not just about material wealth, but also about the richness of our experiences, relationships, and inner world. So here are my top tips to invite abundance with gratitude:
Practice Daily Gratitude
Start each day by writing down three things you're grateful for. It can be as simple as a good cup of coffee or a beautiful sunrise. Make it a habit to focus on the good things in your life. You might also find it to be a more effective and consistent habit if you write down three things you're grateful for each day in a gratitude journal or app.
If you're not a morning person then grateful thoughts might be tough when you're thinking about the day ahead. So instead you could try listing reasons to be grateful as a sleep routine when you go to bed. It's likely you will fall asleep more easily and wake up in a better mood!
Share Your Gratitude
As well as focusing on the things you are grateful for, think about people in your life you value as well. Expressing gratitude to others is a powerful way to attract abundance. Take a moment to thank someone for something they've done for you, whether it's a kind word or a helpful gesture. Make a point to tell, call or text someone today to thank them. Why not call one of your trusted ones just to tell them you're grateful they are in your life and the reasons why? Or if you want to get a bit more creative, how about writing a thank-you note or sending a funny gif or thoughtful gift?

Focus on Abundance, Not Scarcity
When we focus on what's lacking, we create a sense of scarcity that can attract more lack into our lives. Instead, focus on what you already have and what you have now discovered is actually abundant in your life. If you have food to eat, water to drink, a safe place to sleep and someone who cares about you then you already have more abundance in your life than many others do. We all take things for granted. This is a given. So it's good to reflect when we can on just how lucky we actually are.
One way to really feel this is to make a list of things you're grateful for each day. You will be amazed at how long that list gets! I also find on the tough days looking back on this list helps me so much in staying positive so it's great to keep it to hand and keep building on it.
Create an Abundance Mindset
At this stage you are hopefully starting to cultivate an abundance mindset. Having an abundance mindset can bring so much goodness to your world by allowing yourself to feel that there is always enough. When we adopt this mindset, we open ourselves up to receiving more abundance and good things. This isn't about setting your expectations lower or giving up on your goals. It's about appreciating what you have today and seeing anything more that you gain and achieve as wonderful bonuses to your life to feel even more grateful for and excited about!
Give Back
Giving back to others is another surefire way to attract abundance. Whether it's volunteering your time or donating to a cause you care about, giving back opens up the flow of abundance in your life. Giving back also doesn't need to be in the form of a big gesture or put you out of your comfort zone. There are tons of easy peasy ways to give back and show kindness to others. Trust me, even making someone a cuppa can make a big difference in their day. And Here's a few more ideas to get you started.
Take Care of You Too
Taking care of yourself is essential for attracting abundance into your life. Make time for activities that nourish your body, mind, and spirit. You don't need an excuse to pamper yourself or to get glammed up in your fave frock. If that's what you feel like doing today, dress for the life you desire and treat yourself with the care you deserve. Wondering how you're supposed to do this if you're on a tight budget? Check out these ways to pamper yourself when you're short on cash.
Practice Mindfulness
Mindfulness is in a way another form of self care. It's the practice of being present in the moment, without judgement. It helps to cultivate more goodness in your life because when we're mindful, we're more likely to appreciate the small things in life and find happiness in the present. Once we shift our minds to this more positive outlook a positive attitude tends to bring more positive vibes your way. Though I totally appreciate this can be a challenge if you're feeling low, that's all the more reason to do it!
So if you're trying to practise mindfulness and you find your concentration drifting into worries, remind yourself that those thoughts are for later. Focus on the present moment instead. Also, try to be present in conversations by repeating what the other person is saying in your mind to ensure you truly hear them. Let Go of Resentment
Now this one's a toughy to tackle but resentment and anger is important to manage as it can truly block the flow of abundance in our lives. Let go of any resentment or anger you may be holding onto and make space for gratitude and love.
Unfortunately we all know how difficult it can be to just 'let go' right?! So my advice on this as a starting point is to try and think of one way that the event that angered you helped or benefited you. Not easy I know but it may have made you stronger, it may have led to something else which in the end was a positive. At the very least it may have taught you what not to do and been a valuable lesson. Then each time you are angered by the thought, breathe through it while focusing on how the event benefited you.
If this is a stretch too far because let's face it, not every dark cloud has a silver lining, then talk to someone. Share the frustration and work through it with someone you can trust and remember that the event is only one thing. However painful or difficult or long it went on for, it's just one section of your life. Our lives are filled with so many chapters and many other wonderful things, all of which are yours to be enjoyed.
Take Care of Your Trusted Ones
Surrounding yourself with positive and supportive people can help you attract abundance into your life. Take care of those that take care of you and release yourself from burdens created by those who don't. Nurture your relationships and prioritise those who uplift and inspire you.
If you're struggling to find that in your life today, search for it. Cast your net wider, reach out, make new connections with people you admire. There are so many decent, kind and inspiring people in our world. Sometimes we just need to use a little courage to reach out to them and bring more of their good vibes into our lives.

Trust In Something
Finally, trust that the universe or something you have faith in is always working in your favour. Trust that everything is happening for your highest good, even when it doesn't seem like it. Having faith in something, anything can really help take the weight off our shoulders. But what's important to know is that it doesn't need to be the same thing that others around you believe in.
I even know of someone who puts his faith in a bottle of ketchup. Ketchup has always been there for him, it's always made his day better and he knows he can trust ketchup to always be, well ketchup. So that's where he puts his faith, not in a god, not in the universe or energy or even a person but in ketchup. And he would tell you that works wonders for him.
So whether you decide to believe in the power of ketchup, call your bestie to thank them for their friendship or treat yourself to some pampering, incorporating these practices into your daily routine really can invite more abundance into your life.
Remember that abundance is not just about material wealth, but about creating great experiences, enjoying our relationships, and finding calm in the storms of life. This is also your world as much as it is mine or anyone else's so the good vibes are yours to bring into your life as much as they are for anyone else.
